Who is this person, anyway?
I am a woman, an Episcopalian, a priest, a wife, a mother, a mother-in-law, a grandmother; but beyond all those definitions, I am in love with God. There’s just no other way to state that. I love God, and I find God the most through the Psalms. But there are questions surrounding that love, especially now in 2020, in the midst of a pandemic that is claiming the lives of thousands. Where does one find God when one is afraid, when God seems very far away?
I have lived with the psalms daily for over 20 years, they are the benchmark of my mornings and my evenings. And they will be the sole focus for this blog. My musings on a variety of verses from many of the psalms. There are 150 of them, so there is no limit to the pondering. Journey with me through these writings!
